A global leader in energy management and automation is actively seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician-Engineer to join their team. This is a 7-month contract with potential for conversion, and is a Monday-Friday 1st shift role located in Lexington, KY.

Required Skills & Experience

+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar.

+ 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering.

+ Experience with component replenishment / kanban / related material handling tasks.

+ Experience in a new product development environment or related stage gate process awareness.

+ Knowledge of verification and validation process / approvals process for new product development.

+ Experience in SAP production software.

What You Will Be Doing **Responsibilities:**

+ Participate in the process and manufacturing teams to implement the NAM.

+ Conduct research and studies on which sustainable packaging products are best suited for implementation at the local site, including coordinating formalized testing at laboratories.

+ Coordinate with manufacturing, process, SCH, procurement etc. on implementing new sustainable materials.

+ Conduct 3F and assist with FAIR reporting.

+ Assist with reporting to PP/PS Sustainability team on project updates and completions.

+ Conduct financial impacts per project, including cost analysis, cycle time analysis, etc.
