Job Title: Satellite Ground System and Ops IPT LeadJob Description
The Satellite Ground System and Ops IPT Lead will assist with updates and development for the mission system, ground segment, and subsystems. The role involves integrating and testing the system, designing proactive and practical Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) interfaces to meet mission requirements, and developing and supporting test scenarios to ensure the FDIR design is fully tested. The individual will conduct real-time spacecraft and satellite operations during launch, commissioning, and mission phases, provide technical direction for complex orbit mission support, plan for critical vehicle malfunctions, and suggest alternate techniques to maintain mission support.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with updates and development for the mission system, ground segment, and subsystems.
+ Integrate and test the system.
+ Design proactive and practical Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) interfaces to meet mission requirements.
+ Develop and support test scenarios and plans to ensure the FDIR design is fully tested.
+ Conduct real-time spacecraft and satellite operations during launch, commissioning, and mission phases.
+ Provide technical direction for complex orbit mission support.
+ Plan for critical vehicle malfunctions and suggest alternate techniques to maintain mission support.

Work Environment
The position supports multiple small satellite development programs and operates on a 9/80 schedule, offering every Friday off. The company provides unlimited PTO and fosters an open office environment with regularly scheduled social events such as top golf, happy hours, and rapids games.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $116000.00 - $208000.00/yr.
