    Description

    Amazon is seeking an experienced candidate to join the Finance Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group as a Sr. Financial Analyst in our Amazon HQ2 (Arlington, VA) location supporting their key business partner, the Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team. This FP&A position will be the point person for all things GREF finance operations including supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, purchase orders, change orders, vendor set-up and compliance with the Amazon Spending & Transaction Policy. Additionally, this person will own inspection of financial vendor performance metrics (KPI's).

     

    This position requires a proactive, highly motivated self-starting individual who operates well in an ambiguous environment. The candidate will drive operational controllership and develop new mechanisms to drive scale, automation and efficiencies.

    Basic Qualifications

    - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

     

    - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

     

    - 4+ years of transactional accounting field experience

     

    - 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience designing and implementing controls or experience performing audits over financial reporting environment

     

    - Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results

     

    - MBA, or CPA

     

    - Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
