    The Parts Director is an experienced professional in the heavy equipment industry. The Director will be required to develop annual objectives, including budgets, and have P& L knowledge. The Director will need to be able to reduce costs, drive profitability, promote commonality, and communicate expectations in all areas related to the Monroe Tractors parts departments (CE/AG in our NY, PA and NE locations). Must be a natural leader, positive, motivating, team-oriented and have the highest level of ethical standards per our company policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    + Track revenues, expenses and set goals

    + Collaborate with Learning & Development Manager and branch location management to enhance our customer service capabilities

    + Develop and Manage Parts department “procedures/best practices”

    + Manage employee training to meet all manufacturer requirements

    + Inventory Control

    + Maximize turns

    + Focus on slow and inactive Parts per metrics

    + Manage pricing

    + Manage vendor relations to ensure that we participate in all appropriate OEM programs

    + Oversee department safety practices and implement improvements as necessary

    + Ability to collaborate with other departments to collectively support company policies and procedures

    + Assist in training current and new team members

    + Work with Marketing to develop promotional materials

    Qualifications:

    + Understanding of supply chain management

    + Superior verbal and written communication skills

    + Strong organizational skills

    + Minimum 3 years of management experience

    + Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

    + Frequent travel required

    + Minimum 5 years of Heavy Equipment dealership experience

    Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
