    The Team: Innovation is part of our DNA! The Amazon Fresh Core Processes team is looking for a program manager that wants to join an ambitious and driven team that is changing the landscape of retail. This role includes ~25% travel to Amazon Fresh Stores nationwide.

     

    The Role: As Sr. Program Manager on the Core Process team, you are the glue bringing together cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, accurate, and simplified field processes for the stores. This role is responsible for developing field processes for reset retail store processes. Our ideal candidate will work back from core customer needs to develop new standard operating processes that improve efficiency for the end to end in store planogram Back of House and Vendor Managed Inventory processes. You will consistently work with external and internal stake holders including Supply Chain, product teams, Category/Retail, Store Development and the store teams that you will serve. You will use data to track the effectiveness of the Back of House and Vendor Managed Inventory programs as well as areas of opportunity for further training or process and product innovation.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Drive the expansion, improvement, and simplification of Back of House and VMI processes within Amazon Fresh Stores.

    • Explore, test, and roll out new store processes and onboard new VMI vendors to fresh

    • Champion these store programs and develop training to allow the reset programs to scale.

    • Monitor store’s execution and progress on key performance indicators. Assess data to make decisions on process iterations.

    • Work side by side with store teams to test new initiatives and to understand pain points.

    • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to improve processes and communication mechanisms.

    • Build respect and credibility with individual contributors, stakeholders, management peers, and executives.

    • Create and monitor metrics to demonstrate progress towards goals, provide new insights, and allow for regular updates to senior leadership.

    • Innovate on behalf of your customer, identifying and building solutions to reduce labor hours in tasks and improve team efficiency.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of program or project management experience

     

    - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

     

    - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

     

    - Operations leadership experience (ideally in Retail stores)

     

    - 3+ Field and or Corporate Retail experience

     

    - Experience with 3p vendor management (ideally in stores)

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

     

    - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
