    As part of the Amazon Healthcare Finance Operations Services team, you will find yourself working with exceptionally talented and determined people committed to driving financial improvement, scalability, and process excellence. To support the growth of Amazon Healthcare businesses, this candidate must possess a strong passion for accountability, setting high standards, raising the bar, and driving results through constant focus on improving existing and future state operations, systems, and processes.

     

    To be successful in this role, you will need to be a proven leader, diligent task manager, communicator, and problem solver. You will work on large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customers. Great candidates have the ability to use data, analytics, and engineering to drive changes themselves by acting on the outcomes.

     

    A day in the life

     

    Support the growth of the Healthcare revenue cycle automation and analytics functions.

     

    Design, develop, and maintain innovative and scalable automation solutions.

     

    Partner with our business leaders to design and implement business metrics and dashboards, with the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity.

     

    Translate ambiguous problem statements into actionable solutions.

     

    Perform detailed analytical reviews to identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, accelerate cash collections and/or reduce bad debt.

     

    Leverage historical data to create forecasting models to maximize financial performance.

     

    Design and implement metrics dashboards to deepen understanding of AR performance, payment and denial trends.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

     

    - 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree or equivalent

     

    - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

     

    - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 3+ years of healthcare experience, with a strong preference for revenue cycle experience
