Posting Specialist Duties: The Posting Specialist is responsible for obtaining payment details from patients and insurance companies through all available channels, posting payments to the appropriate billing accounts, posting claim processing details including insurance company payments, patient responsibility as assigned by the payor and applying any applicable adjustments, maintaining bank logs of all insurance payments, ensuring balancing within each individual batch as well as monthly to the bank statements, merchant reports and billing reconciliation reports.
