Job Summary: To provide nutrition services for employer populations along the health and wellness continuum intended to meet assessed population needs. Would require development, delivery and evaluation of group and 1:1 programming, in addition to providing general support for fitness and lifestyle choices. Serves as nutrition expert and resource to Employer Services team across employer spectrum. Manages clinical data, documentation, metric collection and program evaluation according to department standards. Consistently demonstrates CARES behaviors in all interactions. Practices the utmost discretion and integrity in the handling of confidential information. Seeks knowledge to keep abreast of new trends in employer well-being. Maintains membership and actively participates in relevant professional organizations.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics or related field from a recognized college or university required;
+ Current BLS certification.
+ Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required and licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the state of NC.
+ Excellent organizational, planning, leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Able to work flexible hours to include early mornings, evening and weekends.
+ Meets organizational and departmental competency requirements.
+ Strong participant engagement, activation skills and good critical thinking skills that result in positive patient outcomes a must.
Additonal Qualifications:
+ Two years of nutrition experience preferred.
+ Experience in health coaching and health behavior interventions in workplace settings a plus.
+ Master’s preferred.
