Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role requires a strong understanding of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience leveraging data tools and software to provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain comprehensive financial models to support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Prepare detailed financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, emphasizing key performance metrics and variances.

• Conduct in-depth variance analyses to identify and explain differences between actual and projected financial results.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver actionable financial insights that guide strategic planning.

• Evaluate and track capital expenditures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budgets.

• Utilize advanced tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and enterprise systems to analyze and report on financial data.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis or a related field requiring attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis features.

• Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.

• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, is a plus.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills to effectively present financial insights to stakeholders.
