Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the accounting operations of our organization in Oakdale, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining the accuracy of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take charge of a dynamic and fast-paced accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

• Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of balance sheet and cash reconciliations.

• Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage audit processes effectively.

• Oversee the implementation and use of accounting software systems, including ERP systems, Concur, and BlackLine.

• Handle insurance-related matters and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Manage financial claims and maintain thorough documentation for resolution.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve overall financial performance. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as ERP, BlackLine, and Concur.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

• Experience with account reconciliations, including balance sheet and cash reconciliations.

• Familiarity with audit processes and compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end and year-end close processes.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
