Program Director NC I/DD

The Program Director is responsible for coordinating the daily operation of DD/MH services and applicable staff; for promoting personal growth and independence of service recipients in accordance with state and program regulations, Maxim policies and procedures, and applicable accreditation standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Organizes and directs the DD/MH Clinical operations of the office
+ Enforces and demonstrates compliance with all State, Federal, Local and accreditation standards, and Maxim policy
+ Identifies DD/MH clinical program needs and presents them to the Account Manager and Regional Director of DD/MH Services
+ Ensures supervision of all Staff as outlined in Supervision Contract
+ Ensures communication procedures and systems are in place to coordinate the implementation of each Consumer’s Person Centered Plan, ensures appropriate utilization and the coordination of necessary services to achieve comprehensive care
+ Communicates all occurrences and other pertinent information to the Account Manager and Regional Director of DD/MH Services
+ Maintains and promulgates the philosophy, goals, mission, and culture of Maxim Healthcare Services
+ Advocates for consumers in all situations
+ Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
+ Meets the minimum requirements and set qualifications as stated in 10A NCAC 27G .0104:
+ an individual who holds a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession, except a registered nurse who is licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing who also has four years of full-time accumulated experience in MH/DD/SA with the population served; or
+ a graduate of a college or university with a Master’s degree in a human service field and has one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has one year of full- time, post- graduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling; or
+ a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human service field and has two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has two years of full-time, post- bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling; or
+ a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services and has four years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has four years of full-time, post bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling
+ Knowledge of habilitation scope of services, state-specific regulations, and applicable accreditation standards preferred
+ Supervisory experience preferred
+ Proficiency in the English language is required
Salary Information:
$60,000 base salary plus $3,500 annual bonus potential
