Description

We are currently looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk who is committed to accuracy and proficiency. You will play a critical role in our accounting department, and responsibilities will include matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R). Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Handle billing tasks, ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner.

• Perform data entry tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks.

• Operate Abila MIP for financial management.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or in the field of accounting.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), managing financial obligations and tracking payments.

• Familiarity with Billing procedures, ensuring all invoices are issued to customers and paid in a timely manner.

• Excellent Data Entry skills, maintaining and updating financial databases regularly.

• Experience in Invoice Processing, checking and verifying invoice data.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, utilizing it for various financial tasks and reports.

• Proficiency in using Abila MIP, an accounting software for non-profits, for financial management.
