Description

We are looking for a meticulous Tax Accountant to join our team in Wayzata, Minnesota. In this role, you will focus on delivering exceptional tax compliance, consulting, and wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and their associated entities. This position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and a salary from 60k - 85k.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, CPAs, and vendors to provide comprehensive tax services and build strong relationships.

• Manage and oversee tax services for clients, resolving routine issues with sound judgment and expertise.

• Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, including associates and interns, fostering their development.

• Maintain accurate and organized client files and records to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Strengthen internal team collaboration to enhance efficiency and workflow.

• Assist with the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals, trusts, and estates.

• Offer strategic tax planning and consulting services tailored to the needs of high-net-worth clients.

• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.

Requirements • Proven experience in tax compliance and consulting, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and families.

• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, including estate and trust taxation.

• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing individual and estate tax returns.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex tax-related issues.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.

• Experience mentoring or leading less experienced staff is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
