A highly respected mid-sized firm in Sacramento, CA, is actively seeking an Associate Attorney to join their litigation team. This opportunity is contract-to-hire.

What You’ll Do:

+ Participate in all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

+ Assist in managing and coordinating the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests, responding to discovery, and handling e-discovery platforms.

+ Prepare for and conduct depositions, working directly with clients, experts, and witnesses.

+ Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide strategic advice on case assessments.

+ Attend hearings, mediations, and trials, providing key support to senior attorneys and clients.

+ Build and nurture client relationships with professional communication and timely updates.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

+ Active license to practice law in California (in good standing).

+ Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience in California.

+ Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

+ Exceptional work ethic, critical thinking ability, and attention to detail.

+ A desire to learn from an experienced partner and grow in your litigation practice.
