    We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Maintenance Warranty Analyst to support our freight operations by managing warranty claims across our full range of fleet assets, including heavy-duty tractors, trailers, and forklifts. This role ensures the timely and accurate submission, tracking, and reimbursement of warranty claims from OEMs and vendors, plays a key role in maximizing warranty reimbursements and reducing out-of-pocket repair costs across the fleet.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Serve as the lead point of contact with manufacturers and vendors regarding warranty claims, policy updates, claim status, and escalations

    + Communicate warranty failure statistics to manufacturers to support continuous improvement

    + Process warranty claims ensuring proper documentation and verifying criteria required by OEM, dealer or distributor

    + Maintain compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures, providing guidance to all involved

    + Partner and regularly update department management of any deviations or corrections required and work closely with shop personnel to ensure the integrity of the repair orders supporting the claim

    + Conduct root cause and failure analyses to uncover recurring issues and identify failure trends

    + Manage and track all recalls and campaign announcements, supporting the field as needed

    + Develop reporting related to claim and payment activity, measuring downtime or operational losses caused by warranty failures

    + Follow up on payment of outstanding claims, reporting anything that requires an escalated issue, i.e. contacting Corporate Maintenance and or Accounting

    + Verify that all warranty-covered parts and labor are reimbursed and confirm labor rates align with current market trends

    Job Qualifications

    Education:

    + High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred

    Required Experience:

    + 2+ years of experience in a warranty process or administrative role (preferably in the automotive or heavy-duty equipment industry)

    + Familiarity with warranty systems, dealership software, or ERP tools (SAP, CDK)

    + Proficient with OEM specific online resources

    + Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Ability to orally communicate concepts and instructions

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Self-motivated, problem solver, team player

    + Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and concepts

    AM / PM
