• CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech)

    Salary: $3206 / Week

     

    The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerizedtomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by aphysician. These cross-sectional imagesprovide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones,which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standardprocedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist alsoperforms a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CTscans.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologistpreferred.

    + Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

    + A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

     

    Mustbe ARRT(CT) registered Must be R.T. (R), (CT). Minimum 2 year CT experience,will need to be able to do CT scans Experience with GE scanners, MedRadinjector, EPIC, Spectra PACs GE experience Epic experience Level 1-3 traumahospital experience Flexible hours/weekend call and holiday availabilityminimum 2 year CT experience 4x10s every other weekend with callrotation/holiday.
