Major/Essential Functions:
+ Contributes to the University's mission through teaching students and residents, research and clinical services
+ Provides patient care services in outpatient and inpatient settings
+ Participates in research and scholarly activities in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the area of Women's Health
+ Participates in committees and other administrative duties
+ Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
+ Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
+ Demonstrates Professionalism in accordance with Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in clinical and/or basic biomedical science research
+ Experience education of residents and/or medical students
+ Board Certification in Gynecologic Oncology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
+ Bilingual in English/Spanish
+ Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher

Required Qualifications:
+ M.D./D.O.
+ Successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
+ Successful completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship program in Gynecologic Oncology
+ Texas medical license or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
