    Major/Essential Functions:

    + Provides inpatient and outpatient adult neurology clinical services including serving as stroke consultants in assigned neurology outpatient clinic and providing consultation services at the affiliated hospitals

    + Conducts neuro-interventional procedures and provides neuro-critical care or stroke services

    + Supervises resident clinics and participates in the overall teaching program for teaching and training of residents and medical students, to include presentation of lectures

    + Performs academic research and scholarly activities in the Department of Neurology

    + Participates in committees and other administrative duties as assigned by Chair

    + Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations; adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures

    + Demonstrate professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine’s Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility.

    Required Qualifications:

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

    + M.D. / D.O.

    + Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Program

    + Successful completion of Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology (ESN) fellowship and Neuro-Critical Care (NCC), or Vascular Neurology (VN), from an accredited fellowship program

    + Texas medical license or eligible for licensure in Texas
