Occupational Therapist: 2024-2025 School Year

AnthroMed Education is expanding our team of Occupational Therapists who support our students throughout the state of Illinois, and we want you to be a part of our team!

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Gages Lake area. This position involves working across multiple districts, serving students from early childhood through high school.

Hours: Full-Time, with flexibility within the standard hours of 8:00 am-3:30 pm.

Occupational Therapist Duties:

+ Complete evaluations to assess occupational needs and areas of growth.

+ Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students.

+ Assist case managers with developing student Individualized Education Plans (IEP).

+ Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ occupational therapy needs.

+ Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.

+ Facilitate staff and community training in the area of occupational therapy and related disorders.

Occupational Therapist Requirements:

+ Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

+ IDFPR license is eligible in the state of Illinois.

+ Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois.

+ Preferred experience in a K-12 setting.
