WSP USA Inc. (WSP) is seeking a detail-oriented **Lead Project Coordinator** to join our Earth and Environment Team in our **Herndon, VA** office. This **hybrid position** will support project managers throughout the region with project administration, including assistance with project set ups, procurement and accounts payable, cost tracking and client specific billing documentation. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, as they will interface with various stakeholders and support environmental projects. Your Impact 

Interface with project managers, client account managers, internal process staff, and operational managers;

Use the Horizon financial platform (Oracle) to set-up new opportunities and new projects,

Obtain purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors working on program projects, including writing scopes of work, preparing purchase requisitions, tracking insurance, redacting client contracts, obtaining safety documentation, and filing signed documents;

Review financial status of projects using various dashboards and reports;

Interface with the WSP project accountants and assist in the maintenance of the project cash flow

Submit vendor invoices to our AP system, track approval workflow and payment status;

Evaluate and track project costs, including personnel expense reports, vendor charges, fleet and other usage;

Track and manage compliance with requirements of quality management processes or plans;

Provide non-technical document review, proof-reading for accuracy, completeness, compliance with corporate policies, formatting adherence, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling; and

Coordinate document delivery, updates and filing.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma;

Minimum of 7 years(s) relevant experience in project support;

Must possess ability to learn a new financial system (Oracle Fusion platform) with mentoring;

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, self-motivation and organization to track multiple requirements at once;

Familiarity with project management practices and procedures;

Computer skills and experience with industry standard commercial computer software including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);

Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation, a positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and within groups;

Understanding the importance of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background or knowledge in project management and providing performance reports to project managers, project directors, local business leads, and client account managers;

Work experience in a consulting environment or similar-project-based business; and

Intermediate to advanced understanding of Oracle, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Suite.
