    Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.

    Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:

    Level IDuties

    * Cleanspatient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bedlinensand sanitizing all surfaces.

    * Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation.

    * Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary ordesignated.

    * Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores inappropriate storagearea when finished with shift.

    Level IIDuties

    * Operates floor equipment tomaintaincleanliness and appearance of all flooring surfaces.
