As a **Nurse Shift Manager** in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), you will play a vital role in ensuring that our most vulnerable patients receive the highest level of care in a supportive and healing environment.
+ Supervises nursing staff assigned to a particular shift. Assigns patients to available nursing staff taking into consideration the patients condition and the employees skill level.
+ Assesses monitors and educates the nursing staff on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
+ Anticipates staffing needs and moves proactively to respond to them.
+ Provides nursing care to patients on an as needed basis.
+ Oversees stocking of supplies and updating patient records to ensure that the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts.

Qualifications
+ Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse required.
+ 2 years experience in L&D
+ Registered Nurse with current CA License,
+ AHA BLS, ACLS and NRP required.
+ Associate's Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN) required and actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other-related field (e.g., BSN/BBA/BHA).
+ LA Fire Card required within 90 days of hire.
Pay Range
$50.39 - $76.21 /hour
