Description

We are looking for a Billing Clerk for a Contract-to-permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to grow within our organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing complex billing processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with government contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process accurate invoices for government contracts using Deltek Costpoint.

• Manage accounts receivable and oversee B2B collections to ensure timely payments.

• Set up projects in billing systems, ensuring all required details are correctly entered.

• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry to maintain organized records.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze billing data and create detailed reports.

• Ensure compliance with billing regulations and guidelines specific to government contracts.

• Resolve discrepancies in billing and payment processes by coordinating with clients and internal teams.

• Monitor and update billing systems to reflect changes in project details or contract terms.

• Provide support for audits and reviews related to billing and accounts receivable.

• Collaborate with team members to improve billing processes and efficiency.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable roles.

• Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and familiarity with government contract billing.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

• Experience with B2B collections and managing complex billing processes.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.

• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

• Knowledge of billing regulations and compliance requirements for government contracts.
