Robert Half has partnered with a global client on their search for a talented, Director of Global Treasury. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s treasury function on a global scale, which will include: developing and executing treasury strategies to optimize liquidity management, mitigating financial risks, maximizing returns on investments, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, financial institutions, and external partners to ensure the efficient management of cash flow, foreign exchange exposure, debt financing, and capital structure. This Director of Treasury role will have strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and treasury best practices and a proven track record of managing liquidity and cash flow.

How you will make an impact

+ Oversee the development and operation of a global rolling cash forecast process.

+ Collaborate on global transfer pricing and cost initiatives to implement treasury best practices.

+ Analyze working capital needs, trends, and activities to ensure adequate liquidity.

+ Manage intercompany transactions like lending, dividends, and capital injections.

+ Build and maintain relationships with cash management banking and financial institutions, including fee analysis and minimization.

+ Investigate and adopt new bank technologies, products, and services to simplify company operations and improve the cash cycle.

+ Engage with executive management and sponsor leadership to support long-term financing activities, including potential future debt financing and merger & acquisition activity.

+ Support operational borrowing initiatives through the analysis of project specifications.

+ Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, procedures and develop and monitor treasury operational policies.

Requirements

The ideal Director of Global Treasury will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar. MBA and/or CTP designation preferred.

Other requirements for the Director of Global Treasury role include and are not limited to:

+ 10+ years of progressive treasury management experience

+ Global treasury experience is required

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Strong analytical skills
