Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting & Controls Manager to oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial data within our organization in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards and maintaining a robust internal control environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, internal audits, and process improvements while fostering best practices in accounting and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Monitor and review account reconciliation activities to maintain financial integrity.

• Prepare and analyze account variances to support effective financial oversight.

• Ensure compliance with group financial reporting requirements and deliver high-quality reports.

• Facilitate and coordinate external and internal audits to meet organizational standards.

• Develop, update, and communicate accounting and control-related policies across the company.

• Lead initiatives related to internal controls over financial reporting to strengthen compliance.

• Supervise physical inventory controls and cycle count processes to ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate on cost control initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

• Manage and oversee the control of the company’s fixed assets to align with financial policies. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting functions and financial reporting, with a deep understanding of GAAP standards.

• Strong experience with accounting software systems, preferably SAP.

• Expertise in internal control processes, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance.

• Proven ability to lead and execute financial audits, both internal and external.

• Demonstrated skill in variance analysis and financial oversight.

• Familiarity with managing fixed assets and physical inventory control protocols.

• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage policies and procedures.
