    Description

    Join a highly reputable real estate company in Encinitas as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, specializing in precise cash flow management, client billing, and payment tracking.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee client billing processes, generating invoices in Sage 300 and distributing them with proper coding to ensure accounts are credited accurately.

    + Track incoming payments daily and reconcile them against outstanding invoices, depositing cash and checks using banking software like Treasury Prime.

    + Resolve payment discrepancies, partnering with the collections team to ensure customers understand account balances and establish payment plans as needed.

    + Reconcile AR accounts at the close of each month and assist in generating AR aging summaries for leadership.

    + Maintain meticulous records, ensuring all cash receipts, checks, and payments are logged into the accounting system accurately and timely.

    + Collaborate cross-departmentally, working with sales and property management teams to ensure timely invoicing and resolve tenant billing inquiries.

    + Support audits by pulling necessary billing data and resolving issues flagged during audit completion.

    Requirements

    + Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + 2+ years of accounts receivable experience, ideally within real estate or construction industries.

    + Proficiency using Sage 300, Treasury Prime (or similar platforms) and Microsoft Excel (formulas, data validation, and VLOOKUPs).

    + Strong communication skills, with an adeptness in client interaction and problem resolution.

    + High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
