Inventory Specialist
Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Inventory Specialist** in Houston, Tx to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and availability of inventory to support our manufacturing operations.
Mission
To manage and maintain accurate inventory levels by tracking, organizing, and auditing stock while supporting our production, procurement, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
+ **Track Inventory:** Monitor and record stock levels using inventory management systems.
+ **Inventory Audits:** Conduct regular cycle counts and full audits to verify inventory accuracy.
+ **Manufacturing Support:** Verify correct material consumption throughout the manufacturing process.
+ **Inventory Accuracy:** Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
+ **Organization:** Label materials appropriately and maintain organized, efficient storage areas.
+ **Space Optimization:** Arrange stock to minimize damage and maximize space utilization.
+ **Procurement Support:** Alert purchasing teams when stock levels fall below thresholds.
+ **Compliance & Safety:** Follow company protocols for inventory handling, storage, and disposal, adhering to all safety standards.
Qualifications
+ **Technical Knowledge:** Solid understanding of inventory management systems and best practices.
+ **Industry Experience:** Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment with a strong grasp of production workflows and equipment.
+ **Preferred Knowledge:** Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Inventory Control, or continuous improvement methodologies.
+ **Languages:** English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus.
Technical Skills
+ Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

**Pay Details:** $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
