    Job Title: Concrete Technician

    Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled Concrete Technician with at least 1 year of outdoor construction experience in concrete, specifically with knowledge in caulking, patching, or controlled demolition. The ideal candidate will possess their own hard hat, steel-toe boots, and essential hand tools (20 oz hammer, pliers, 25’ tape measure, 12” prybar, speed square).

    Responsibilities

    + Perform deck repairs on garage slabs and connectors for large parking garages.

    + Conduct joint sealant replacement, overhead soffit repairs, caulking, form building, rebar tying, and hot apply epoxy.

    + Execute controlled demolition using chipping guns and jackhammers.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of outdoor construction experience in concrete.

    + Knowledge of caulking, patching, and controlled demolition.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools such as a 20 oz hammer, pliers, 25’ tape measure, 12” prybar, and speed square.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in masonry, concrete carpentry, and waterproofing.

    + Understanding of concrete finishing, epoxy application, formwork, and rebar.

    + OSHA 10 certification highly desired. Must be willing to obtain OSHA 10 within 10 days of starting.

    Work Environment

     

    Regular start time is 7am, with 8+ hours of work per day from Monday to Friday, and potential overtime. Safety is paramount, so wearing PPE at all times is mandatory. Be prepared to work in hot summer weather. Some sites may require second shifts or 4 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
