Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description
Candidates will be performing TIG welding of metal parts at the end of the manufacturing cycle. As the parts are machined and created, the final part of the process is to weld the parts together as needed. Candidates must have 2 years of experience and familiarity with TIG welding. This includes welding common alloy steels as well as aluminum materials. Candidates must have experience and the ability to set up torch systems, using a welding rod according to charts that allow them to work with proper types of thickness. Additionally, candidates should be able to read blueprints to construct the fixtures to weld. Inspection experience is also necessary to ensure welds are properly executed, with a focus on thinner material welds.
Responsibilities
+ Perform TIG welding on metal parts at the end of the manufacturing cycle.
+ Weld common alloy steels and aluminum materials.
+ Set up torch systems and use welding rods according to charts for proper thickness types.
+ Read blueprints to construct welding fixtures.
+ Inspect welds to ensure proper execution, with a focus on thinner materials.
Essential Skills
+ 2 years of TIG welding experience.
+ Ability to weld aluminum.
+ Experience reading blueprints.
+ Familiarity with setting up torch systems and using welding rods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with MIG welding.
+ Ability to perform inspections.
+ Familiarity with hand tools.
+ Any additional welding skills are welcomed.

Work Environment
The working hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The team consists of 5-10 people, with 40 people in production all on one shift. The environment requires steel-toed shoes and jeans. The facility is very clean, temperature-controlled, and air-conditioned, providing a comfortable and pleasant work setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Middleton, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34000.00 - $56000.00/yr.
