    Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to perform unit testing of Embedded C functions, generate repeatable test cases, and create test artifacts. The role involves reviewing unit test cases and artifacts, conducting code reviews of embedded C and C++ source code, and performing other duties as required.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform unit testing of Embedded C functions.

    + Generate repeatable test cases and create test artifacts.

    + Review unit test cases and artifacts for completeness and accuracy.

    + Conduct code reviews of embedded C and C++ source code.

    + Run and evaluate static analysis and static analysis results.

    + Set up and use development boards, debuggers, and other hardware.

    + Participate in other duties as needs require and skill set allows.

    Essential Skills

    + Intermediate or advanced knowledge of C programming language.

    + Experience in unit testing, including path coverage and MC/DC.

    + Ability to generate and understand reports and other test artifacts from unit testing activities.

    + Ability to review test cases and test artifacts for completeness and accuracy.

    + Experience with running and evaluating static analysis results.

    + Ability to set up and use development boards, debuggers, and other hardware.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with LDRA Unit test and Static Analysis packages.

    + Extensive experience with the C programming language.

    + Experience with detailed code review activities.

    + Experience with the application of coding rules and guidelines to code under review.

    + Experience with achieving complete code coverage.

    Work Environment

    This role involves working with various development boards, debuggers, and other hardware tools. The work environment is dynamic and requires adapting to new technologies and methodologies. The position may require occasional shifts and flexibility in hours to meet project deadlines. Travel once a week/month to GE in Wilmington, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
