Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position operates on a Sunday-Thursday schedule from 11 pm to 7:30 am. The role involves performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on various industrial equipment, including injection molding machines, automated and manned paint booths, robots, extruder systems, diecasting assembly machines, and all associated support equipment. You will conduct and document water and air quality tests, use precision testing and measuring equipment, and handle and store chemicals and industrial lubricants.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on injection molding machines, automated and manned paint booths, robots, extruder systems, diecasting assembly machines, and all associated support equipment.

+ Conduct and document water and air quality tests.

+ Use precision testing and measuring equipment.

+ Handle and store chemicals and industrial lubricants.

+ Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic systems at a component level.

+ Inspect, remove, install, align, and lubricate bearings, gears, belts, and chains.

+ Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems at a component level.

+ Access and manipulate various PLC programs for manufacturers such as Nitoman, Panasonic, Omron, and others.

+ Troubleshoot and repair control, injection, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of polyurethane and various injection machines.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ 2+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience.

+ 1+ year of experience in PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.

+ Knowledge in AC and DC theory, various PLC programming, and temperature controller and thermocouple systems.

+ Ability to read and understand electronic schematics and terminology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of proper inspection, removal, installation, alignment, and lubrication of bearings, gears, belts, and chains.

+ Experience with PLC programming including Omron, Siemens, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Texas Instruments, and Keba.

+ Troubleshooting and programming knowledge of DC drives: Reliance SC 500, Danfoss, Woods, Omron, Siemens.

Work Environment

The work environment includes two buildings located within five minutes of each other. The maintenance team is currently short-staffed, so you may need to travel between facilities, with mileage reimbursed if you use your own vehicle. The facilities are clean and primarily automotive-focused, though it can be hot during the summer.

This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $64480.00/yr.

Eligible for benefits 1st day of month after start date.
