What You'll Do:

Personal Care Assistants are compassionate and dedicated individuals with a calling to make a positive impact on the lives of others. You will provide hands-on support with daily activities and foster a warm and nurturing atmosphere for our residents. This entry-level position also offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn more about long-term care and its many career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist residents with non-medical, activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support

+ Provide meal planning, preparation, and feeding as required

+ Provide medication reminders

+ Foster meaningful connections with residents, offering emotional support, companionship, and a listening ear

+ Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to contribute to resident care plans and provide input on individualized care needs

+ Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of residents, promptly reporting any concerns or changes in health status

+ Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any observations, contributing to the overall assessment of resident needs

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of a Home Health Aide include:

+ PCA / PSS Certification or equivalent

+ Compassionate and empathetic nature

+ Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both

+ Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment

+ Dedication to upholding high standards of care
