ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Writer to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Create and maintain technical documentation for software applications, systems and processes, including user manuals, system guides, release notes, and knowledge base articles.

+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and understand complex technical concepts.

+ Translate technical information into clear and concise documentation that is easily understandable by end-users.

+ Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all technical documentation produced.

+ Organize and structure information effectively to facilitate easy navigation and retrieval of documentation.

+ Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and readability.

+ Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and make recommendations for process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ A bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, information technology, computer science, or related field of study

+ Masters degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.

+ PhD degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience.

+ 4+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the IT industry

+ Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.

Desired Qualifications:

+ Experience supporting DoD programs.

+ Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or other IT Service Management Frameworks

+ Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) .

Clearance Requirements:

+ Must possess a current/active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
