This position is part-time 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) with day shift and a weekend/holiday rotation.     Position Description:

    The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in providing for and coordinating appropriate pharmaceutical practices at PRH.  The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist to ensure that PRH’s pharmaceutical practices meet all regulatory and accreditation requirements and to comply with all applicable policies and procedures of the organization.  The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist with all stages of the medication delivery process including; reviewing, ordering, procuring, preparation, storage inventory, administration and outcomes.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

    + High School diploma or GED certificate with associated experience.

    + Pharmacy Technician certification desirable

    + Computer literate

     

    Shift: Various day Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, weekend + holiday rotation 8 to noon

     

    FTE: 0.6 (24 hours per week)
