Join us as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, where you'll independently conduct impactful research and lead the planning, development, and implementation of innovative programs. In this dynamic role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Education Research Center, contributing to grant writing and advancing our research efforts. Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
+ Appropriate PhD in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Proven track record of coordinating/managing team projects
+ Prior experience working/communicating with educators, education leaders, and administrators, preferably in an education policy context
+ Experience using project management software (e.g., Monday, Trello, Microsoft Planner, Arsana).
+ Experience with managing an organization’s social media, e.g., website maintenance
+ Experience with Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) for research.
+ Experience with statistical software, such as R, Stata, SPSS, Python
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
+ Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment
Responsibilities
Research:
+ Under general supervision, is responsible for conducting research into their field of expertise
+ Assists with the preparation and cleaning of worksite
+ Analyzes research data and summarizes results
+ Writes and may contribute to research papers, articles, and publications
Research Grant Writing:
+ Identify grants appropriate for ERC faculty
+ Assist, facilitate, or potentially lead grant writing efforts
Program Development and Coordination:
+ Plans, develops, implements, coordinates, and monitors programs and services to facilitate program goals
+ Develops and maintains an operations/program calendar across all stakeholder groups
+ Schedules and facilitates logistics for operational meetings, including communication, calendar events, and agendas
+ Monitors incoming service requests and triages/escalates to appropriate staff/team
+ Coordinates specialized program communications and marketing materials
+ Prepares and reviews reports on the effectiveness of program activities
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
+ Shares messaging with appropriate stakeholder groups and reviews for accuracy
+ Archives campus-wide messages on the website
+ Confers with staff on program issues and recommends solutions
Professional Development:
+ Participates in workshops, conferences, and research to enhance job skills
+ Supports a personal professional development plan to sustain and evolve proficiency in digital learning environment practices
