Medical Director Responsibilities:

1. Deliver expert emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment.

2. Manage a diverse range of acute medical conditions and trauma cases.

3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

4. Lead and mentor team.

5. Participate In the effective management of the emergency department to ensure core goals are maintained.

6. Drive department production and metrics

7. Participation in TeamHealth and hospital leadership meetings.

About the emergency department :

+ Annual patient volume 73,000

+ Daily Physician Coverage: 50 hours

+ Daily APC Coverage: 70 hours

+ Hospital Beds: 231

+ ED Beds: 40

+ Fast Track: Yes
