Recreation Counselor

Join Lifetime Assistance Inc. as a Recreation Counselor (DSP) and help individuals thrive through engaging community experiences. This rewarding role provides advocacy, supervision, and hands-on support to enhance the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:

+ Guide and support individuals in community-based recreational activities.

+ Ensure safety, well-being, and positive engagement at all times.

+ Complete accurate daily documentation and maintain required certifications.

+ Foster social connections and personal growth opportunities.

+ Follow individual life plans and behavior support plans.

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to complete required reports and follow agency policies.

+ Physical ability to assist individuals and lift up to 35 pounds if needed.
