Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector will be seeking a Contracts Manager Level 1 to lead the Sector Contracts Compliance, Policy, and related functions. This position will report directly to the Director of Compliance for Contracts, Government Property, and Pricing for NGDS. The Job Location is on site to an NGDS site.
This manager will be responsible for managing overall Sector contracts compliance health. While the position will currently have no direct reports there will be multiple focal points across the DS Sector will rely on the leadership of this position.
Responsibilities:
+ Fielding internal NG corporate audits and responding as necessary.
+ Schedule, conduct and adjudicate Contract Self Assessments and provide resulting assessments and recommendations.
+ Periodically presenting to sector executive leadership on progress and status of Self Assessments including trends and issues confronting the sector.
+ Identify FAR [Federal Acquisition Regulations] and all its related regulations including the DFARS, agency specific regulations updates and communicate to the contracts community.
+ Work closely with Sector Contract Operations to create/update training based on findings during the Self Assessments and internal audits.
+ Prepare RCCAs. [Root Cause and Correction Actions]. This includes both internal company audits and external Government/Customer audits.
+ Assist with the update, creation, review of Sector procedures in accordance with corporate-wide strategies and policies.
+ Responsibilities will include offering compliance knowledge to proposals, contracts, modifications to contracts that identify risks and offering risk mitigations.
+ Leading monthly contract update publications, and assisting with contract notices.
+ Attend NGDS HQ meetings and corporate working group meetings as scheduled/required.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 8 years of relevant experience or master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience in property (U.S. Government/DoD/Commercial) administration; or 4 years of relevant experience with a PHD We will also consider 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
+ Thorough knowledge of the FAR/DFARS related to contract administration.
+ Knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
+ Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of & ability to use SAP/S4.
+ Ability to obtain/maintain Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance
+ Demonstrated interest regarding industry trends, best practices, and researching regulatory updates
Salary Range: $102,400.00 - $153,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
