    A respected legal organization in Sacramento is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join their dynamic team. This position supports attorneys in fast-paced civil litigation matters and requires a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented individual.     Responsibilities:

    This role will involve a mix of litigation and administrative support:

    + Drafting, proofreading, and filing legal documents.

    + Coordinating and ensuring deadlines are met for case filings, discovery responses, and other legal processes.

    + Managing attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, and keeping the team on track.

    + Preparing trial binders, exhibits, and other materials for hearings or trials.

    + Assisting attorneys in preparing case documents, including correspondence and discovery.

    Requirements

    Key Qualifications:

    We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following:

    + Experience: At least 5+ years in civil litigation with a proven history of managing a busy desk effectively.

    + Trial Preparation: Hands-on experience with trial preparation is essential for this role.

    + Professionalism: Polished demeanor and strong communication skills to effectively support attorneys and interact professionally with clients.

    + Hybrid Role (Optional): Previous paralegal experience is a plus! Candidates with a paralegal certificate have the opportunity to take on billable paralegal tasks.

    + Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong litigation skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

    Compensation Package & Benefits

    We strive to deliver competitive compensation and benefits to reflect your skills and experience:

    + Salary: $60,000–$83,000 annually (commensurate with experience; higher pay available for senior candidates).

    + Hours: 7.5-hour workday with opportunities for paid overtime.

    + Retirement Plan: Generous profit-sharing contribution of 7.5% of annual compensation.

    + Health Insurance: Full coverage for medical, vision, and dental insurance for employees.
