Description We are looking for a skilled Collections and Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Bannockburn, Illinois. Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding balances.

• Conduct credit analysis to evaluate client risk and establish appropriate terms.

• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.

• Oversee cash activity and ensure proper allocation of payments in accounting systems.

• Utilize accounting software systems, including Great Plains, to streamline financial operations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize billing functions and address issues promptly.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements in AR processes.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of collections and credit activities.

• Provide regular reports on AR performance and collection status to management. Requirements • Proficiency in accounts receivable and collections processes.

• Strong understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment.

• Experience with accounting software systems, particularly Great Plains by Microsoft.

• Familiarity with billing functions and cash activity management.

• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and issue resolution.

• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

• Proven ability to analyze financial data and identify process improvements.
