    Description

    The YMCA has an exciting opportunity for Swim Instructors at the YMCA of Broome County.

     

    Successful Swim Instructors are motivating, enthusiastic, display a positive attitude. You must be at least 16 years of age, previous experience with children and strong swimming skills required. You will also be required to be in the pool for most of your shift.

    Position:

    Part-time

    Salary:

    $16.50 per hour

    Requirements

    + CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Basic First Aid, or obtain within 60 days of hire

    + Must be able to demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA standards

    + YMCA swim instructor certification, or equivalent

    + At least 16 years of age
