    Description

    Finance Segment/Region Liaison Sr. is a valuable business partner responsible for providing financial analysis and oversight for the Corporate, Specialty & Government (CSG) Banking business sub-segment which is a dynamic component of the Commercial Banking business segment. This role is a fast-paced, deadline driven position requiring strong collaboration with other business partners. The successful candidate will work closely with Segment FP&A; Central Forecast; Corporate Accounting; HR and other business partners in support of the CSG leadership team.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Month End Close. Collaborate with others to research financial statement variances; prepare adjusting journal entries; and provide written and oral variance analyses.

    + Forecast / Budget. Produce financial forecasts and budgets in collaboration with others for all financial statement line items including earning assets, deposits, and related net interest margin and fees; noninterest income, noninterest expense; and headcount.

    + Reporting. Prepare and deliver written and oral financial reports to management. Prepare materials for financial presentations to Executive Leadership team. Maintain standard and alternate financial reporting organizational structure in financial reporting system.

    + Business Case Development. Develop financial business cases for new initiatives and / or products and establish process for monthly updates and tracking and reporting of actual results.

    + Advisory Role. Work to build strong alliances and trust with CSG management; become a valued member of the CSG senior leadership team.

    + Special Projects. Participate in- and/or lead special projects in support of leadership and company strategies.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.

    + Minimum seven (7) years of finance, planning & analysis (FP&A) experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience using Essbase or similar financial reporting tools and strong Excel modeling skills

    + Strong financial and accounting acumen in Commercial Banking.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of management, up to and including the Executive level.

    + Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others with limited supervision.

    + Capable of establishing and managing changing priorities and to adjust work schedule as required to meet critical deadlines or business needs.

    Compensation Range:

    $93,000 - $189,000 Annual Salary

     

    The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
