    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Assembler to join our Light Duty Assembling team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical units and sub-assemblies, which will then be provided to the Control Panel team. You will perform hand crimping of electrical terminals, assemble connectors, conduct visual inspections, and prepare units for testing. Each assembler will have their own work area and will be expected to maintain cleanliness and organization.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble electrical units and sub-assemblies.

    + Conduct machine and hand crimping of electrical terminals.

    + Perform basic soldering of wire connections and connectors.

    + Assemble housings and connectors.

    + Work with wiring charts and schematics.

    + Perform basic visual inspection on materials.

    + Prepare units and assemblies for testing.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, and tape measures.

    + Ability to read and follow SOPs.

    + Capability to conduct visual inspections and maintain organization.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with schematics and previous electrical experience is advantageous but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    The shop is quiet, clean, and well-lit, providing a conducive environment for independent work. The role is primarily repetitive and does not require close supervision. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with breaks including two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch. The dress code is casual with jeans, t-shirts, and closed-toe shoes; steel toes are not required. Our facility is ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFIED, ensuring adherence to quality management standards.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
