    Job Title: Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee operations in a machine shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a good mechanical and electrical background, experience with basic PLC troubleshooting, and skills in fabrication and welding. This role will have you responsible for the maintenance at 3 small facilities in Chattanooga, all very close to one another.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate and execute the maintenance activities in a machine shop.

    + Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment and machinery.

    + Troubleshoot PLCs.

    + Manage fabrication and welding tasks.

    + Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

    + Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and equipment performance.

    Essential Skills

    + Preventative and reactive industrial maintenance

    + Lockout tagout procedures

    + Mechanical maintenance

    + Electrical maintenance up to 480v

    + Reading blueprints and schematics and using multimeters

    + Troubleshooting and fixing breakdowns

    + Part repair and replacement

    + Basic PLC troubleshooting at machines to locate faults and checking PLC inputs and outputs with a multimeter

    + Metal fabrication

    + Welding

    Preferred Skills

    + Strong electrical cabinet troubleshooting and maintenance

    + Reading and adjusting ladder logic

    + Leadership and supervision

    + Detail-oriented

    + Experience with sanding, grinding, and polishing

    + Strong organizational skills

    + Ability to work in a team environment

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

     

    **Starting Pay:** $25-$29/hr, depending on experience

    **Shift:** 1st

    **Schedule:** Monday-Friday

    **Weekly hours:** 40, maybe sometimes 45

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
