About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing, strategic Public Relations Coordinator to lead media relations, communications strategy, and thought leadership for our premier portfolio of healthcare and technology clients. This is a pivotal role for a results-driven communicator who thrives at the intersection of innovation, influence, and impact.

You’ll work closely with executive leadership, client success teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to create and execute high-level PR strategies that drive national visibility and brand authority. From media placements in tier-one outlets to integrated influencer and AI-enhanced outreach campaigns, your work will shape the voice of Nuvolum and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications Leadership

+ Own the development and execution of integrated PR strategies for Ofelos Venture Group brands and other high-growth clients

+ Align PR campaigns with marketing and business development goals in partnership with Client Success and leadership teams

+ Serve as a senior communications advisor to internal stakeholders and client executives

Media & Influencer Relations

+ Lead national, local, and trade media outreach—cultivating strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and podcast hosts

+ Draft compelling press materials and narrative-driven pitches that consistently land coverage in top-tier outlets

+ Lead media training, interview prep, and real-time media engagement

AI-Enhanced PR Innovation

+ Leverage emerging AI tools to optimize trend analysis, media monitoring, sentiment tracking, and campaign performance

+ Spearhead innovative AI-based initiatives like automated inquiry handling, virtual press rooms, and predictive trend modeling

Crisis & Reputation Management

+ Develop and manage crisis communication plans for high-stakes scenarios

+ Monitor real-time brand sentiment and take proactive steps to protect client reputation

Reporting & Optimization

+ Measure success with real-time analytics dashboards and customized campaign reporting

+ Use data-driven insights to optimize PR efforts, assess ROI, and guide future strategy

Qualifications

+ 5+ years of proven success in PR, with a strong preference for experience in healthcare, wellness, or technology sectors

+ Demonstrated ability to secure national press and lead executive-level communication

+ Strong command of crisis communication strategy and rapid-response media handling

+ Experience with influencer strategy and integration into broader PR efforts

+ Familiarity with AI-driven tools for PR, social listening, and performance reporting

+ Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills

+ Strategic mindset with operational execution excellence

+ Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative

Logistics & Fine Print

This is a hybrid position. Candidates should be available to work from our Bay Area office 1–2 days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
