About this role

The **Senior Manager, Supply Chain Network Design** will design, develop, and optimize Carrier’s logistics and supply chain network. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, and a deep understanding of network modeling and simulation. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of our logistics operations. This role involves analyzing and improving the flow of goods from Suppliers to Customers, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction across all Carrier's Business Units and Regions globally.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop, design, and optimize the logistics network, including transportation routes, distribution centers, and warehouse locations.

+ Utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools to analyze and improve network performance.

+ Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and service level enhancements.

+ Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

+ Develop forecasting models to predict logistics needs based on demand, inventory levels, and other key factors.

+ Perform scenario analysis to assess the impact of potential changes to the network.

+ Lead and manage logistics network projects from inception through implementation.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with business objectives.

+ Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

+ Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 2+ years of experience using network modeling tools and logistics management software. (e.g., Llamasoft).

+ 5+ years of analytics, consulting, logistics or supply chain experience

Preferred Qualifications

+ Proven experience in logistics network design and optimization.

+ Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau)

+ Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

+ Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.

+ Familiarity with emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
