    Position: Regional Summer School Teacher (positions filled contingent on enrollment)

     

    (summer school will be held at Berne-Knox-Westerlo CSD & Schalmont CSD)

    Basic Function:

    Duties include providing differentiated, direct instruction and remediation for high school students that could lead to credit recovery.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Curriculum instruction, supervision and evaluation of students in need of remediation. 2. Students will require content and skills that will assist them in being successful throughout their summer school experience.

    Dates:

    July 7, 2025 thru August 20, 2025 - Monday thru Thursday @ 2-4 hours each day

     

    There will be a mandatory training on Monday, July 7th from 8AM to 1PM at the summer school location you will be assigned to teach.

     

    Salary: salaries are paid on an hourly basis

    Job Qualifications

    A. Valid NYS certification in the subject area of Grades 9-12 Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Special Education

    B. Valid NYS certification in Health, Physical Education, School Library Media Specialist.

    C. Experience preferred.

     

    The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
