    Responsibilities:

    + Diagnose and treat a variety of cancer types with evidence-based therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments.

    + Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, and palliative care specialists.

    + Provide compassionate patient education and counseling, ensuring patients and families understand their diagnosis and treatment options.

    + Participate in tumor boards and case reviews to enhance care coordination and optimize patient outcomes.

    + Stay current with emerging cancer treatments and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

    + Work closely with oncology nurses, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

    + Contribute to community outreach and cancer prevention initiatives to enhance local healthcare access.

    Qualifications:

    Required Credentials - Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New York

     

    Preferred Experience - Advanced training in Hematology/Oncology or additional subspecialty certification is preferred but not required.

     

    Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution

     

    Skills - Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-centered empathetic communication skills

    Compensation & Benefits:

    + Base Salary Range - $367,919 - $566,718 (commensurate with experience).

    + Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus and semiannual bonuses for productivity.

    Complexity of Work:

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    Adherence to Standard Precautions and utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
