    Responsibilities

    Supports and promotes goals and objectives of the Department of Radiology and Mayo Clinic. Is responsible for providing customer service internal and external to Mayo Clinic, including physicians, allied health staff and medical center personnel. Performs work activities related to Radiology Data Management and Archive area, including film management, electronic image media creation, film digitization, electronic image transfer, quality assurance and corrections. Is responsible for taking positive action in problem solving and working with various computer systems. Requires positive communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to customer service, demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team environment, flexibility and the ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. Understands and adapts to changes in procedures easily and supportively. Rotates through areas on a scheduled basis. Ability to problem-solve, organize and process information with speed and accuracy. Maintains excellent attendance.

    Qualifications

    A high school diploma or GED is required. Knowledgeable in various computer systems and applications. Good clerical aptitude and computer skills with accurate keyboarding. Knowledge of anatomy. Manages Radiology data with accuracy in an organized manner. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Good interpersonal skills and interactions. Knowledge in Microsoft Office products required. Ability to read, write and speak English. Knowledge of PHI and HIPAA organizational policies and guidelines.

    Schedule Details

     

    Various locations across the Rochester campus, with a rotational remote shift. Hours vary from 6 AM-4 PM, with occasional 2 PM -10 PM. The team covers weekends and holidays.

    *Note, this position is primarily on-site.

     

    Weekend Schedule

     

    Rotational weekend schedule, approximately one weekend per month. Shifts alternate from 6 AM-2 PM and 2 PM -10 PM.
