    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in the PBM industry to join our team as the Lead Director, Rebate Analytics and Client Value Optimization. In this role, you will lead a team of employees, including 3 direct reports, dedicated to delivering value to the PBM via rebate guarantee adjustments, conducting client actuals to forecast variance analysis, and analyzing large sets of data to drive strategic decisions and optimize rebate performance. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the PBM, including sales, underwriting, finance, and others to execute solutions.

     

    You will oversee the process of adjusting rebate guarantees to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements, collaborating with stakeholders to implement improvements and monitoring the impact on overall financial performance. You will conduct thorough variance analysis between client actuals and forecast data to identify discrepancies, develop strategies to address variances, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management. Additionally, you will pull and analyze large sets of data to support rebate guarantee adjustments and variance analysis, utilizing advanced data analysis tools to extract meaningful insights and maintaining data reporting systems for timely decision-making. Leading a team of analysts you will foster a collaborative and innovative environment, working closely with stakeholders across the PBM to execute solutions and propose process improvements, while regularly interacting with senior PBM executives to share findings and recommendations.

     

    The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of complex PBM financials, data, and operations. He/she should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior PBM executives and share findings and recommendations as well as the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely. The candidate should have the ability to develop and drive solutions with a high level of independence in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines and competing priorities. The candidate should have proficiency in pulling and analyzing large sets of data to support rebate guarantee adjustments and variance analysis and expertise in developing, implementing, and optimizing reliable rebate management processes.

    To be a candidate for this role you will possess the following:

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Required Qualifications

    + 7+ years experience leading and developing teams.

    + 7+ years of experience in the PBM or Managed Care industry, with a strong understanding of rebate management and financial analysis.

    + 7+ years experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a similar role.

    + Experience pulling large data sets in financial analysis and data analytics tools, such as SAS, SQL, Excel, and Tableau.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + ASA/FSA preferred

    + Experience with rebate forecasting and modeling.

    + Knowledge of industry-specific rebate practices and regulations.

    + Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.

    Education

    + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.

     

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $100,000.00 - $231,540.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
